My name is Dan –  In 2024 I was diagnosed with colorectal cancer.  By the time we’d caught it, the disease had metastasized to my liver and lymph nodes.  My immediate evaluation was 12-14 months left if things went well, and a 10% chance to make it.  Along my journey, I have learned many valuable lessons in self-worth, empowerment, and positivity.  I’ve felt how much having a positive attitude and healthy outlook can impact your treatments and your mental well-being. 

Beyond the physical challenges, one of the big obstacles was finding resources which could help my situation and well-being both mentally and emotionally.   My mission is to help empower those facing cancer with support, resources, and connections. Together, we can create a safe space where everyone can share, learn, and grow. Join us as we navigate our journeys together and provide feedback and support to our allies in battle.
